Prasanta Sahu, born in 1968 in Orissa, is an acclaimed artist known for his innovative approach to painting. He holds a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Barapada School of Engineering & Technology and received training in Electrical Engineering under O.S.E.B. He furthered his education with a B.F.A. in Painting from Kala-Bhavana, Visva-Bharati University, and an M.F.A. in Painting from M.S. University, Baroda. Sahu has received prestigious awards like the National Scholarship of the Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Govt. of India, and the Nasreen Mehmodi Trust Award. He currently teaches at Kala Bhavana, Visva Bharati University, Santiniketan, showcasing his talent and expertise in the art world.
